Between daily responsibilities and mediated online spaces, adults rarely get a low-stakes place to hang out, process pop culture, and engage in genuine self-authorship.
We all have mainline quests in our lives—our careers, families, and routines. But it is often the deliberate and accidental sidequests that bring genuine connection, joy, and the pleasure of discovery.
Whether you missed out on an iconic album, want to analyze a cult classic movie, or need an excuse to tackle a tiny home project, Sidequests gives you permission to take a break and explore territory you’ve always wanted to visit.
We believe pop culture provides an ideal context for building empathy, practicing dialogue skills, and having fun, hot-take-filled conversations with people who see the world differently than you do.

Synchronous. A facilitated 60-to-90-minute online session with 5–9 fellow Sidequesters where we unpack the experience together.
